About Me

I love writing children’s books.  My favorite way to write is in rhyme.  I was a ballerina and ballet teacher for most of my life, so something about the rhythm of rhyme is so familiar.  It’s like a beautiful waltz or balancé.  

I majored in History at UCLA.  I have always been fascinated about history.  I guess because it’s the story of our past.  Since then I have worn many hats.  I worked in the film industry, I was a make-up artist, and jewelry designer.  Basically, like my mom, I love doing anything creative, and I credit my father and grandfather for inspiring my love of storytelling.
